Concrete Practice

As One Direction came out singing "Drag Me Down", Kelly, Julie, and Kathy immediately cried in disbelief that the band was standing right in front of them. Many other directioners shouted, jumped, and shoved as Harry Styles started the song. The blue and red lights beamed brightly at everyone in the crowd. The fans screamed louder than you standing near a space shuttle launch. While Kelly extended her arm to hopefully grasp one of the band members hand, Julie was pushed against the metal bars. After being unconscious for a second on the concrete ground, she managed to endure the pain holding herself up during the rest of the concert. The girls were so happy to be at a One Direction concert that they would risk their hearing, lose their voices, and getting a few bruises.

Yesterday, the house smelt like freshly baked cookies when I walked in. It was national cookie day and my grandma had made some mac nut cookies in honor of it. The oven timer went off as I was in the living room watching TV. She served it to me right when my favorite show was back from commercials. I appreciated her offer like always, but never tasted it right away. Because she was really eager to get feedback on how it tasted, she whipped out her hand gun and flicked its barrel around once pointing it towards the TV. She repeated herself once more persuading me to try her cookies. I shot my arm straight toward the cookie jar and popped one in my mouth. The crisp golden bite sized cookie crunched as I chewed and tasted buttery flour cookies.  I looked at my grandma who was laughing hysterically at how easy it was to scare me. I never disobeyed her from that day on.

That man is not the real father of the two sisters. He is not even a real soldier. This was one of the few photo shoots I had staged for a photo contest. The girls were actually laughing most of the time and one girl let go and fell right off the soldier's back. She lied there on the lawn with grass stains on her bright pants. She struggled a little trying to get back up into position as I snapped the photo. The guy started to cramped so he let out a muffled grunt. -----------------------------------------
